I want to get a shoal of lemon tetra, but I fear they may be outcompeted by my black skirts. Any ideas?

I’ve had them with white skirts, I don’t think it would be a problem.

I keep groups of the two together- they seem to get along just fine.

I recommended more than 6, if possible. We always say "In groups of 6", but that is a bare minimum. It really should be 8+.

I do not have any say on if the BST and LT are compatible, sorry.

All good they will be happy, Serpae Tetras are another one that looks good with Black skirts and lemons

I would get serpae, but I'm getting apistos and I don't want any nips. Also they aren't from the same river system hehe. Thanks .
