I've had this petagonal 44gal glass tank for about a year and a half. In the past i have always filled it to where the glass meets the plastic. Just recently i noticed that it is leaking at the top. I know that that is the best place to leak, However it leaves unsitely calcium build up down the front of the tank and i want to patch it.

How can i do this safely and with as little hastle as possible. I dont wasnt to have to relocate the fish and do a dry patch job. Has anyone else been in this boat? If so what did you do?

Lower ur water level to below the im guessing black plastic border around the top. Then lay a bead of bathroom silicon around the bottem edge of it on the outside of the tank all the ways around. Let it dry for 24 hours then rins well with warm water and whatever u use to clean ur glass. I use a comercial fish glass cleaner. Then fill the tank and you should be good to go. I had the same problem with my 20 gallon tank and this stoped it. Good luck.
