Leafs

Hi very new to this , just a quick question , I have seen photos of tanks which have loose leafs at the bootom of the tank on the substate , I am working on a community tank and would like to use leafs on the substrate. What type of leafs are suitable and where can they be sourced / purchased?
Any correspondance greatly appreciated.....

any old dried oak leaves that have been soaked will be fine
