I am gutted, the long awaited spawning of my Krobia has finally started, the female is one end of the tank, the male the other, she has been desperately been trying to get his interest all day, so she has given up and is laying eggs on her own then turning and eating them. :shout:

im sure he will work out what his pecker is for sooner or later .

I always find a divider works in this situation, sounds strange but it seems to make the male more determined

She did in the end lay a load of eggs on the plant pot, but the male wasnt interested in doing his bit, she finally got his attention, but when he came over to the eggs he just looked at them and started eating them! Stupid Fish!! I may swap some fish around in the new year when I have some space and put them in with the Rotkeils, he might lean what to do by watching them!

That is an option Mark, turn the pc round and download some national geographic or discovery channel programs for him
