I can count on my Kriby's tp spawn every month. The problem I have is raising the fry after about three weeks they die. I feed them newly hatched brine shrimp which I know they are eating since their bellies are orange in color, can anyone advise. The tank is well planted with lots of hiding places. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Are the fry in a rearing tank or do you leave them with the parents?

They are being kept with the parents who watch them

I found with my Kribs ( aswell as some other cichlids ) that the parents look after the fry until the male want to breed again. Which I find to actually be around 3 weeks or so. I have had good success with taking the male out and leaving the female in with the fry but it seems the male eats the fry once he wants to breed again. I noticed this same behavior with convicts, green terrors and angels. Now that might just be my bad luck, my cases may be by chance.
Are there other fish in the tank aswell?

discovered mine had bred yesterday also with little babies in the plantpot im not bothered about raising theyre in with cherry barbs and otos
