This is my first experience with Kribs. I have a male and female I believe are paired. They followed each other around in the tank at LFS and did these little dances around each other.
I see where people say that their caves need to have only one way in and out.
The closest to a cave structure I have is an alien skull - two big eye holes and a large hole in the back of the head. I have only had the Kribs 24 hours and they are currently hanging out in the skull.
My questions:

- is it important for there to be only be one entrance/exit in cave.

- If I need to buy a one-hole cave, I saw these 2 sizes:
X-Small: 2 in x 2.75 in x 1.75 in
Small: 3 in x 5 in x 3 in
Which would be best for a pair of Kribs?
(I'm thinking the x-small would be too little)

- If they already put eggs in the skull, I would not want to disturb them. Where would I look for eggs? Top, bottom, where?

Thanks

Don't look for the eggs, most important that if any Cichlid lays eggs you don't disturb them. If they are happy in the skull great. I used to use Terracotta pots cut in half they work really well, give them different sized houses they will choose the one they like.
