Knobby Mushroom Splitting

I bought a Discosoma sp coral at the weekend.

The bottom one appears to have split down the middle.Is there something I should do?

If it is still attached to the rock , simply sit back and watch them grow...if loose try attaching to a small rock with an elastic band placed loosely arond it.

At the moment one of them appears to have dissapeared! and the other appears to have split in two with both ends becoming elongated but attached to the rock in the middle.

Would you leave these ends or attach them to another piece of live rock?
