Wow is really nice :)
You'll have to make sure to show us some pictures as they grow up :).
Ryu is now fully recoved ^^, The Bp in the tank decided it wanted to breed and ryu didnt so ryu ended up batterd and develp[ing a swim bladder infection. Unlikely just before i went on holiday! I left the "carer" instructions on how to use the treatment and the feeding of all my tanks. And luckily not a single fish was lost! and now Ryu's back to full health and as beautiful as ever :).
She's a wide thing now though heh (whos mouth is a smiley face, but not as deformed. My Bp still retains alot of the red devil in its mouth)

I purchased 2 of these from World of Water near Watford on Saturday... only £14.99 each :) they are very cute indeed. There were 3 left, all pretty battered and needing TLC, but these 2 seemed to be mates so had to have both, and my mum will buy the other little one (my 2 were bullying that one).

They have very endearing faces, and seem to be sweeter-natured than my standard parrots. In only a few days their fins are looking amazing and their colours are really coming out. Eating like champs too :D

*is excited*

Oh and they were labelled as "Horny parrots" - how cute! :D

Horny parrots haha

Pics please

I'll be taking pics of them tomo... seem to have settled in well and are, I think, displaying some love

I thought they were both girlies and just quite friendly, but now they're liplocking with distended breeding tubes and are faffing around with my plants, lol.

These guys are cute and my missus wants to add some to our tank (current stock 3 bp's, 7 rainbows, 6 congo tetras and a bristlenose - 600 litre rena tank)...but have a few questions and would appreciate any advice from the wise!

how big do they grow? Bit larger than standard BP?
do they grow a bump? (lots of contradicting info on the web)
Anyone had any aggression issues mixing them with standard BP's?

Cheers

I'm so jealous! I've never seen a kirrin for sale in this area, or surrounding :(

OMG went to a fish store that I discovered in London today, and they have the most beautiful Kirrins! They're £30 each though... I paid £14.99 but they weren't in great health. These ones looked FAB, great flowerhorn markings too.
