Killifish - Any Info Please?

Came home today from the lfs with a pair of killifish - one male, one female.
Not like me - I like to know what I'm doing but for once was persuaded by no 3 child....

Have scratched about a bit on the web for the last 2 hours but come up with very little info
Think I ID them as fish in topic desription by the look of them - sorry - no digi camera or I'd post pics.

Anyone got some?
so far I know:
they jump
from Africa
like meaty food - insects and such
weird dry season egg laying behaviour

what do I want to know?
how to make them happy:
food?
plants?caves?substrate?
tank size?
tank companions?
water temp?

just those little details....
Have put them in a smallish part planted tank with an adf and 2 boy guppies.... for now

my killifish like all just eat flakes allthough live as a treat

tank size of about min 24'
a few hiding places
plants

just seARCh killifish yours may come up

thats all i can say on him
watch he adf he may eat them im not sure but might if there small

how long do they live? in the wild they would only live till the water dried up, right?

i guess i think they can live to 5 years but not allways
