Kid-friendly larger tetras for middling-to-hard water?

I think congo tetras would work. I see them in many planted tanks. They dont eat live plants. Maybe they have been confused with Buenos aires tetras which will eat plants but dont worry about congos, they are all good!
 
OH! good to know! I looked into this a little bit further, and it seems like a "your mileage may vary" situation, where some people report that especially anubias seems to be to their taste, and other people report no issues. Possibly related to the diet they're fed, who knows. Definitely going back on my list then!
