Keyholes And Currents

Well I recently placed a Aquaclear 50 Powerhead into my 29 gallon tank in an attempt to increase my aeration in the tank and add some movement to my water. When I first added it everything seemed fine, the next day it seems my keyhole was being bugged by it. His color changed, he was breathing fast and was franticly swimming around. Turned it off for a bit and moved it around so the flow was facing the wall more and everything seemed fine. Today I got home from work with the same effect. Does the current bother him that much? The current stocking is:

6 Harlequin Rasbora
1 Keyhole Cichild
1 Opalaine Gourami (soon to be rehomed)
1 Platy
1 BN Pleco
1 Upside-down Catfish
7 Kuhli Loach

Should I find another way to add current/aeration to my tank?

What is the total current between your powerhead and filter?

I have about 5-7× turnover in the tank with my keyholes, which they are fine with, but spread out through a spray bar. Is it possible for you to add one? It could help.
