I have a Kenyi Mbuna with free swimming fry in a fry tank. They are swimming but are still going in and out of the mother's mouth. Is it time to move the mama back to the regular tank or should I give her a few days to recover and be with the fry?

I have never kept them so 'bumping' this thread, but my instinct would say that she is caring for them so leave her, especially within the first week as she will be recovering.

Leave them together until the babies are no longer seeking refuge with the mother.
