Keeping Death Head Cockroaches?

Hi, my college is giving a way free True death's head cockroaches- which most people are getting for food for their reptiles.
Where as i think their cool and uniquie in their behaviour so was going to take a few as pets although not sure if they need special heating or not- they are kept in an exotixs room so it is naturally warm in their for them, would my room-temperature bedroom be warm enough?

They'd survive in a warm room, but to thrive and breed they'd need a temp of around 25/27°C, so a heat mat would be a good idea; they're very cheap and don't use much electricity.
