Hi.

I saw some of this yestetday in the local fish shop. It says to stick it on the inside of my tank using silicone. But my tank is full, any other ways to fix it to the inside of the tank?

Thanks.

Matt

You can buy silicone which you can fix while the water is still in the tank. Heres some on Ebay:-

underwater silicone

Your gonna struggle fixing it under water. These things are nothing but big sheets of polystyrene. Really you need to empty the tank dry it properly, empty the substrate, silicone the backing on, wait 24 hours to let it dry properly. I asked the same question as you before attatching my juwel backing.

Oh pants, 2 answers both saying different things! :)

Polystyrene souds like it will be a #28### to fit whrn tbe tank is full. Was hoping it would be quite rigid plastic and i could hold it to the back with a couple of well placed rocks.

Oh well.

Well if you want to do it that way its not so bad. You can buy a big plastic tub (which are always handy anyway) from a DIY store they are not expensive and put everything in that and run it for a day or so while you stick your background on.Just think of it as a good oportunity to give your tank a thorough clean! :good:
