Juwel Rek 70 Vs Fluval Uno 600

hi,
now my daughter wants a tank
so im looking at either fluval uno 600(dont know how many ltrs it holds ?)
or juwel rek 70, i was going to clone the jewel off mine same size sponges but with stand its a little to tall,
question is anyone know how much these are new with stand?
and if anyone knows if the filters are good in the fluval? and the ltr question.

i have a juwel rekord 60 and a fluval 800 and i much prefer the fluval.
i didn't think the juwel filter was up to the job and so i took it out and replaced it with a fluval 2 plus.
I think they are on par as far as build quality goes. Not sure on the price though.

The filters in the juewl are of much better quality than the fluvl internal the thing people dont like is one the black box in the corner and 2 its a little more tricky to do maintanance i find juewl are far better quality tank all round from all aspects i think that the fluval is a good budget tank but looks cheap you cant beat the quality and look of the juewl. Ialso just bought my son the rekord 70 for his bday

i thought the juwel had such a slow turnover and there was not much chance of it keeping bits afloat until theycould get sucked up. At least with the fluval you can put it in the most appropriate place for you.
Only stated my opinion as i have both makes of tank.

i know my post wasnt getting at you mate. But the turnover on the juewl is more than adequate on the rekord 70 for instance the filter does 400lph so its going to filter the tank 5 and a half times an hour more than enough i would say wouldnt you.

i think the 70 is different to the 60, does the filter output stick out of the filter box with yours? because it doesn't on the 60.
I think the rekord 60 is onlt rated at 260lph which is why i changed it.

i dont have a 70 im reading the juewl catolouge the 60 is only 280lph which is still 4.75 times an hour the 70 is 400lph

i think theyre quoted without media, so the flow will reduce with that aswell once the sponges go in

The Juwel 70 is different from the 60 in that the filter output does stick out and you can angle it.
