Just the right amount of fish?

Hi everyone,

I have a 26 US gallon tank and right now I currently have:

2 silver mollies
2 lyretail mollies
3 swordtails (1 male, 2 female)
7 guppies (4 female, 3male)
1 bristolnose pleco

and a breeding net with about 20 tiny fry inside of it

My question is do you think my tank is stocked alright or is it too full?

Would appriciate any replies!

not too bad imho, but with a bristle nose you will have to keep up with your gravel vac. they poop TONS.

How often should I gravel vac.? Once a week or?

I usually do a little every week/water change. Just be careful not to go overboard, as lot's of beneficial bacteria live in the substrate, and disturbing lot's of gravel can cause your ammonia levels to rise.

Yeah I've read that a lot of benificial bateria live in the gravel. I only do light cleaning on the surface of the gravel.
