Lots of nipped fins in the tank he/she/it came out of, but I'm sure they'll heal up, it's in a quarantine tank anyway

Thanks, snork

I had to get it when I saw it! I've been on the lookout for a nice angel since my last one died and totally fell in love with this one

Wow, what a beauty!!! Congrats!!

Kills me how fish stores always stick long, flowy finned fish in with nippers.  I just saved a long finned broze cory from a tank full of black skirt tetras

Showing off... lol. That's what this site is for innit ! We all enjoy doing it and its nice to share get some positive feedback/advice from other members.
Makes it feel all the more worthwhile after the effort we put into keeping fish.

I've always had a soft spot for Angelfish, this one certainly landed on its fins ! thats a great tank/setup Fluttermoth.

Beautiful plumage.

Very nice indeed!

Unusual colourations and beautiful fins.

You've got a beauty there

it's just some wood and plants I stole out of the main tank with some bin liner on the back!

Gorgeous! Havn't seen any that looked quite like that! Hope it heals up quickly :)

o... As we know Fluttermoth most problems are stress related, your safe natural type Quarantine tank is the best and only medicine he/she needs.

Indeed; I'm keeping the water pristine, so I'm confident they'll heal; I won't medicate unless I see any signs of definite fungus

All the angels in the tank had very badly nipped fins; this one was actually the best of them, so it might have been the one doing the nipping

Keep us updated, I recently acquired a second hand 3ft tank with cover and lighting from a local charity shop I work in as a volunteer. It had been on display for two years but  never sold (£25 !) They let me have it free gratis for the work I do.

I would like to keep Mbuna again but they really need at least a 4 footer.

Angelfish are top of the list.
