Hi welcome to the forum.

In the pictures, in pic 1 the fish at the bottom is an OB Peacock, not sure if its got a name but OB basically means hybrid, I think the fish at the top is a Pseudotropheus Saulosi male. Not sure on the second one as it looks quite small and stressed. Pic 3 is a Pseudotropheus Demasoni - quite a small and easy to keep Mbuna. Its not recommended to keep Saulosi and Demasoni together as they look so similar it can increase the odds of fighting.

I'm a bit concerned that I can see an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey, Angelfish, Rainbow Fish and a Chinese Algae Eater in there with the Africans? Rift Lake Cichlids are much more aggressive than the other fish in here, the Angelfish in particular I would say is at risk from getting beaten up and potentially killed. Rift Lake Cichlids also need very hard water with a high ph - the JD and Rainbow Fish need quite hard water but not to the same degree as the Malawis. The Angelfish is much more suited to softwater, which is what their natural habitat is like, keeping them in hard water (or the other fish in softwater) will shorten their lifespan from 10ish years to maybe just 2-3 years.

Do you have a long-term plan for what you are going to do with these fish or have you just been following the advice from the LFS?

Hi thank you for your response.
the Demasoni is a picture from the store. they had him with mollys also. Yes I do have a EBJD which they were following each other and nipping for the first hour but it’s been about 15 hours now. Everyone relaxed.
im Going to be taken the angle out along with the tetras.
so far the Saulosi and Demasoni haven’t paid any mind to each other.
