Yesterday i brought the plants below and some moss balls (already had two mos balls that are doing very well)
The plants are potted and i was told they do not need co2, so i hope this is true as this it not a path i want to go down. Can anyone identify them? If its true i don't need co2 i would like some more, and mayby some other plants to go with them.
I also noticed some tiny snails in the tank after i dropped everything in, i got rid of everything i could see, the plants seemed ok, but the moss balls were covered in eggs, i took the loss on the chin and binned the new ones. Luckily, the old moss balls seem snail free.
My new plants:

My old moss balls, around 3 weeks in the tank. They were brown when purchased and now a very nice green:

Im looking to add more real plants over the next few weeks so hit me with your ideas, the tank is pictured below (picture is before adding real plants). The new plants are placed just to the left of the filter at the back, replacing the plastic, so i am hoping they will fill this space nicely as they grow. What could i add to replace the other plastic plants in this area, just in front of the filter?

Thanks
Matt
