They are nearly impossible to find but if u do its the same requirements as a Blood Parrot. You would need a bigger than a 10 gallon tank
 
i would post this in the hybrid forum. As i said they are rare and i ahve never seen one.

and they need about a 50G tank...

they are just like a convict in needs really, fiarly tough, can be very aggresive, not a cute community fish :no:

i like them, can pay quite the dollar for them though, up to 100$ ive seen em,
some even go for over 200 bones

Tey are only 5$$
 
Around here they're very cheap too. supply and demand I guess.

Because they're a human engineered fish they don't have any real requirements, besides appropriate tankmates that can handle the aggression, and an appropriate tank that can handle their size. They are not picky about food or water quality.
 
holy crud. Now i know what yur talking about. I HAVE seen one before. I was thinking the true Parrot fish.
