I was at my lfs last night and bought 3 small potted Java Ferns, but they are not normal ferns, the leaves are kinda uneven and not semetrical at all, its hard to describe.
They didnt know why they were, only knew they were a Java Fern.

I attached them to a couple peices of bog wood and it looks very nice, although the new bog wood is turning my watter a brownish already.
I was just wondering if this would be similarly low maintience and fast growing as a normal java fern.

Thanks :)

A pic would be helpful. I know there are 2 types of java fern. Narrow leaf and normal.
Java fern is slow growing in low light but morderate in high light.

There is an image for you. best I could do really.

Yep windelov it is :) nice looking plant that one too :)

Thanks :) I really like it, hoping it takes to the logs and doesnt die on me, the tips are turning a bit brown, but I hope its just from the shock of the new tank and being broken up a bit.

I have like 1.1 w/g and it gets reflected (not direct) sunlight for about an hour each day.
I dont know if i should use a liquid fert or not though. I have some, but havent used it.
