I have a nice bit of java fern on a rock. Some of the leaves are a brown yellow colour. Not loads just the odd one. My apple snails have gotten in ther and rooted out the brown leaves at the bottom but there are a couple of big longs ones that are discoloured. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Lights are low at only 2watt and on for 8 hours a day. No co2 or anything. My aniubus is fine. It's a fairly new planted tank.

It will probably just be the plant adapting to the new water conditions. If it was something serious then the whole plant would be showing signs of 'ill-health' Similar to melt that crypts suffer from when introduced to new water conditions. Just remove any unsightly leaves and sit back and watch the tank :)
