Around this time last year I was tentatively buying my first plants, I never imagined it would lead to a hobby so engrossing or ultimately rewarding!

Yep that's hygrophila polysperma at the back with some lobelia cardinalis growing in front.

Great looking tank, well deserved win.  I especially love the contrast of Red Wag Platys against the greens of the plants.  I also have H. polysperma and I love it.  Fairly undemanding plant that grows fast and full.

I read in another thread that H. polysperma is classified as a noxious weed and illegal in certain countries which might explain why a lot of people don't recognise it.  I get asked what it is a lot.  I got the impression it was illegal in the US but I see Ruskull is in the US and you've got loads in your tank so maybe it isn't?
