LMFAO!!!!!!!
I was seriously 'laughing out loud' just then, that is so funny yet freaky. To hear a "SPLASH" then to see all the puke all over the place must be a hell of a shock! By the way, what was the first thing that came to your mind when you heard the splash?
Oh my freakin goodness... the horror. I can't imagine. I have a thing with puke, I don't know if I could have dealt with it like you did. I probably would have called up someone who's a little less grossed out by such things... Yeck. At least they puked, I mean, it was terrible for you, but wonderful for them because if they hadn't they woulda been sick puppies. Sugar just isn't good for doggies! Haha man... now I'm actually glad the trick or treaters used up all our candy.. I can just see what would have happened with Calvin if any had been left.
i can relate!!! my family used to own a miniature schnauzer. every year for christmas my parents gave my brother chocolate covered cherries as a present. the basset we had before never found them under the tree so my parents figures the schnauzer wouldn't either. wrong. they'd wait until christmas eve night (when we'd open "family" gifts, santas were on christmas day) while we were fixing dinner. at some point we'd hear her puking on the kitchen floor behind us and find the remains of some of the wrapping, the box and a few of the liners that held cherries. of course, shortly after the pukefest, she'd be begging for ham. took my parent 3 christmases of this to realize that maybe they shouldn't put the box under the tree, no matter how well wrapped. good nose on that old dog.
be glad he puked it up though, if he had actually digested it, he could have either become constipated (not fun for a dog), or worse, had diarrhea
