Jack Progress For James

here are a few pics of my EBJD growth and colouration progress. he was about an inch when first purchased and is probably close to 3-3.5 ish now.

picture 1 - the day i got him and still in the bag

picture 2 - still very small but the colour has changed to a more deeper blue

this fish has to be the hardest fish to get a decent picture of i have ever had..... it just doesnt like the camera and hides on first view of it. this along with the fact i am crap at taking pics of fish anyway and the silly fish doesnt stay still for long enough doesnt help things

1st and 2nd pic are how mine started to mature, however as i mentioned in another thread my Jack didnt go as mottled as that, he continued to progress as my Avatar looks. Eventually colours blending out into the bluey hues he has now.

I wish there was a way of 'tagging' threads the same way as AQ used to do, makes finding threads you've posted in so much easier to find and it used to jump you straight to the first post that was unread.

Well i'll be staying tuned for more I bet your loving him arent you buddy

As much as I love the colour blue - I still dont think it suits fish... they somehow look plastic to me.

He is rather beautifully coloured

the jack looked different today but wasnt being the photogenic fish he was the other day the darker areas were a bit lighter and each scale was outlined. ill try and get some pics if i can
