Jack Dempsey Tank Mates?

Hi everyone, I have two small (1" long) jack dempsey in a 10Gal tank, I had them on a 55 Gal tank with other cichlids a little bit bigger and they were very stressed, so I thought it was better to wait for them to grow a bit before putting them back there.
Now I would like them to have some company, maybe some fish that can stay in this small tank when they are gone, some sugestion? 
By the way, I was thinking of Glo-fish. What do you think?

dempsy aren't community fish, so putting any community fish, they will kill them. also the 55 will get to small for them when they grow into adults, just a tip.
what type of cichlids do you have in the 55? and how many?

I know, but so far they are to small to put them in the big tank, so meanwhile any suggestion of mates for them?
