well ive decided that stunning as discus are , that i miss my sevs too much . and i also miss having the flexibility to keep chopping and changing and adding different fish as and when i please . so the discus are gonna have to go . the good thing is tho that with them having grown out i should be able to get about £200 for the lot which will give me plenty of money for the re-vamp.

1 of the discus is having worm issues at the moment so the plan is to get that cleared up then once im satisfied it is back in good health sell them on and use the money to re scape the tank and re stock it based around 1 maybe 2 sevs .

so fish to be sold on are
1 cobalt 1 blue turquoise 1 leopard ( all 6 inch + ) 1 red turquoise 1 leopard 1 checkerboard pigeon ( all around 4 inches) and 2 gold rams ( absolutey stiunning examples)

i will keep 6 corydora sterbai 2 bolivian rams and wild ancistrus

then i plan on doubling the group of sterbais adding 1 or 2 sevs , probably red spotted . and anything ekse i see that takes my fancy .

Blimey
Thats a pity but fish are like that we chop and change till we get what we want

Pity as your tank was looking spot on

yeah we do chop and change lol . should of seen the missus face when i told her last night!!! she got the right hump and started with the old " i knew this would happen " routine  but when i said i wanted sevs again she was ok cos she misses vinny . i do like the discus still but i miss having sevs more than i thought i would. i will do discus again 1 day when ive got enough space for a couple of big tanks.

I must admit, I am not suprised, although discus are nice as you say you cant mix other fish with them like you can sevs.

yep lovely as the discus are i think i miss sevs more than i enjoy discus . plus this way i get to spend some money playing with my toy :hey:

I suppose the million dollar question is do you want the lad himself back?
