Ive Been A Bad Boy

just spent about 150 quid on my tank and didnt buy a single fish!!! been running an eheim 2217 and a 2028 for a while now , but now ive got big bioload fish ive upgraded the 2028 to a 2nd 2217 (wanted 1 for ages) and ordered 2 rena smart heaters which are not made of glass and dont burn fish , a wise move with oscars imo ( was meant to order these heaters ages ago but other boring bills cropped up) plus my heaters are total pony. and another nice big bottle of prime . only splashing out cos ive just had a nice windfall , but god i love spending money on my tank .

Got to splash out sometimes!! I really fancy a nano tank for the kitchen setting a little marine tank up but thinking of it I bet it would cost abit. On my wish list is a fluval G series filter but that can wait. Need to move house b4 I can get the proper tank I want l gonna be a while!

ditto that . as soon as we move whenever that may be il be after a tank upgrade, in the meantime tho id really like to do a small planted shrimp tank. and the way i justifiy it to the missus is simple. hey i could be spending the money out on the lash with my mates all night and you not knowing where i am . at least this way im home and happy

You can buy a kit for the renas to attach them to the inlet of your eheims. About £6 each. Just reduces it from 2 things to 1. You could probably just modify the ehiem inlets but for £6 i couldn't be bothered.

Don't think i'll ever get rid of my 2028 that filter will probably out last me

no way il ever sell the 2028 . its been a fantastic filter. will use it on my next tank. will lok into thos attatcments . where did you get them?

Is 1 seller on ebay but there are loads. It's only like the eheim inlets except tapered at the end and a lot shorter. But like i said for £6 wasn't worth the hassle to me.
