Is This Anubias?

I found these by the river.
Anubias species in my country is wayyy expensive. Help appreciated! many thanks!

looks like it but i think anubias usually grows in central and western africa :)
 
It is not an anubia, IMO, but a closely related species. It looks to me, and I've seen this species out of a pot, so I know what the root systems looks like. I have several of these in pots at home.

Spathiphyllum wallisii (Peace Lily)

It is often used in paludariums and though classified as a non-aquatic, can actually survive for some time in an aquarium. Don't know why it's so expensive, because a plant like that is less than a dollar US.

The plant in the second picture looks really beat up. Ouch. Somebody's been munching on it.

I'm from Malaysia.
It cost around rm20 around here and thats quite alot for us :lol:
