ok so i have 2 dwarf gouramais 1 male one female, and i keep seeing them chasing each other they also touch each other with their whisker things (looks bit like hugging) and also the female looks full of eggs, so could this be a sign of ready to breed?
If it is then i gotta get some live plants.

no, but i dont think they start building unless they have any live plants.
And i havent got any lants yet, but sometimes bubbles come out his mouth?

try floating a piece of polystyrene
on the water see if they start if he starts nest
