I have 200 litre tank filtered by a Cristalprofi 900 Canister Filter.
It is now about 6 years old but has never given any issues. About 5 months ago I had a massive Ammonia spike probably initially caused by the death of a large clown loach which was hidden by plants. Over next week or so I lost all my fish.
I therefore set up from scratch with water and a complete change out of filtration sponges (retaining bacteria carrying ones).
a week or so ago I started to populate the cycled tank and all seems well.
However I am now seeing very light lair of tiny particles of dirt landed out on my plants and to a lesser degree I can see more disturbed from sand substrate when I do water changes.
Water peramaters are not changing but I cannot figure this out.
Any thoughts please??
