I've been adding plants here and there ( low light/maint ) and now I have to ask myself, is this a medium planted, or have it hit the heavily planted tank? I just have 2 T8 lights, no CO2, liquid ferts and nothing else. If its getting to the point where I need to add something to the water to keep my fish alive, I'll have to transplant some of the plants to another tank.

I have:
7 regular Amazon Sword
2 Jumbo Amazon Sword
4 clumps of Hornwort
1 Cabomba
3 assorted crypts ( I think, I didnt catch their name and lost the package )
2 Water Sprite ( little brown in areas, but hasn't died after two months )
2 plants I'm not sure what they are, the bottom of the leaves are redish, but tops are green

Heres the tank: ( if imgur is slow loading, http://i.imgur.com/yFwDA.jpg )

Why would you need to add something to keep fish alive?????

I wasn't sure, I thought I read when I was first starting out something about a heavily planted tank took something away from the fish so you had to add it to the water, I guess heavily planted needs co2 injected into the water since natural amounts wont be enough? I just dont plan on doing anything regarding co2, I thought doing it wrong or too much would kill the fish

Your fine, providing your plants are happy and thriving the fish will thrive as the plants clean and put O2 in the water.

They seem to be doing fine, I dunno about thriving the only growth I've seen was that baby amazon that sprouted off a stem I posted about the other week. I planted a clump of my Hornwort in the sand so I'll be able to see how quickly it really grows, I'd add my ferts but my weekly WC is coming up so I'll wait till after the new water is in
