Is that crack line or just silicone??

Hi experts,

I just purchased this 22g tank for about a month ago. While I was cleaning the tank I noticed a crack line on the outer edge front bottom side. So I am wondering if it’s a scratch mark or it’s the silicone coming off there. I can feel it with my fingers when I touch it though but not the inside of tank. Thanks a zillion!

Hi and welcome to the forum

Does the line go right through the glass and appear on both sides?
When you run your finger nail across it, does your nail drop down into a groove or is there a bump there?

If there is a bump it is probably silicon and you can scrape it off with a single sided razorblade.
If it is a groove/ channel, then it is probably a scratch in the glass.
If there line is on both sides of the glass then it's a crack.
