Is My Platy Ready To Drop?

Hi all,

This is my first pregnant platy and I don't know when to separate her and place her in the breeding tank.

Could someone please look at my photo and help me in this instance? Thanks Pete

Shes not eady to drop. Her belly will look squared, and the white dot on her but will be gone.

hi pete, it will take 3 to 4 weeks or so before it gave birth..

When i bred platies, they a were always brats. If i put them in the trap, they would either jump out or abort their brood. I would end up just laving themin the main tank and hope when i woke up a few would survive.

id say about 3 weeks or so. she still is very small and isnt showing a gravid spot. (they don't always but quite a lot do)
