Hi,

Im pretty new to this, so bare with me.
I have a current setup and am aobut to get another tank, so need to know if i should move anything into the new tank or if it's ok as is.

Current Tank is 30 Litres, thats about 7 Gallons US i think.

I have in there:

3 Cherry Barbs - 1 Male, 2 Female
2 Platy - 1 Male and 1 Female
1 Blue Dwarf Gourami

I would like to get a botoom feeder in here as well, dont know what. My understanding is it isnt overstocked. I think i might move the Gourami into my new tank and maybe get more platy's into the small tank with a bottom feeder.

New tank on order is a 130 Litre tank, thikn thats like 30 Galons or something.

Your tank is stocked to its fullest and maybe a little bit overstocked. Remember the rule is one INCH of fish per gallon not one fish per gallon. And this is only a general rule, some fish just need more room than others. The fish you have should all get along fairly well but anything you add to your tank will most likely tip the balance. Almost any bottom feeder you added would be too much, especially if you are talking about an algae eater instead of a bottom feeder as most algae eaters grow to a substantial size.

Oww i see what you mean

3 Cherry Barbs - 1 Male, 2 Female 6 Inches ?
2 Platy - 1 Male and 1 Female 2 inches ?
1 Blue Dwarf Gourami 3 Inches ?

So 11 inches so i have about 4 inches to many really, so i could move the gourami to new tank and be pretty right. Or up water changes?
