Hi Guys

The bigger crypt in the photo has been in their for at least 6 months now.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Maybe 4 weeks ago I planted a whole bunch more crypts around it and a Crypt Spiralis. Since doing this the leaves have kind of pointed upwards and somewhat thin :\

My substrate is seachem flourite so I presumed that their would be enough nutrients. I also dose PMDD and Liquid Carbon Daily. My crypt spiralis has been in there for about 4 weeks and has sent out runners where as my ye old crypt has never done this :\

Also is it a crypt wendtii or a random one? The new ones are wendtii

What could the problem be?

thanks for the quick response, the surrounding are wendtii red, im sure it wont look too bad once it fills out

I have never hear of "red", maybe they are the same thing? Or just a slightly different cultivar. At any rate, all the wendtii in the photo look identical to my "brown" :)

Tropica cultivate them as 'Brown', i'm sure Aquafluer did a special of the 'red' var. In essence they are the same.
