Hi there I would like to know if my pleco is a male or female. I would also like to know if I could have more then one in my tank. I do believe it is a common if not could someone let me know what breed it is. Thank you.

That is a sailfin pleco. Cant speak for its sex, but i do know this is a huge fish as an adult and should have a tank 180 gallons or larger, larger if more as many plecos arent necessarily happy to have companions of their own species except for breeding.

Many sailfins reach over 15 inches long.

Thank you for the breed and yeah I am stuck on the breed. I don’t really want to breed it I just want to get another for company because all it does is sit inside the little House and kinda come out just a little to eat then back in.

If you get another they will fight. They're nocturnal so that's probably why he hides when you're watching him
 
It looks like a young gibbiceps catfish. they can reach 18 inches but normally get to about 12 inches. It's too young to sex.

They need driftwood in their tank to graze on and help their digestion. You should also encourage algae to grow on the glass and rocks for it.

They produce a lot of waste and you need to do a big water change and gravel clean the substrate every week.
