Hello everyone !
Has anybody ever used Easylife Profito to fertilize a tank with shrimps? Iā€™ve read online different opinions about it because it contains a little copper (I think 0,003%). Is if safe for shrimps ? Anybody using it can please share their experience? I have red cherry, yellow davidi, blue velvet and amano shrimps. I want my plants to thrive (60 liters tank, 13 plants) but donā€™t want to kill my shrimp colony!! Any advice would much appreciated! Thanks in advance !

Most commercial fertilizers contain trace amounts of copper. It shouldn't be harmful unless you overdose like crazy & pour half a bottle in there?. I've never personally used this brand, but I've gone through several others (incl. at least 2 which had copper listed as a microelement) with no ill effects whatsoever, on either shrimp or snails.

I use Easylife profito in all my tanks for years. All my tanks contain shrimp.

Also :
TNC say their product is safe for shrimp, as it's only a small, trace amount of copper. Done a quick google, & found an old thread on an APS forum, where George Farmer says Easy Life Profito is safe to use with Amano shrimp.
