ok so heres the story,

i have a 30l biorb which had 6 cardinal and 6 ember tetra in with some shrimp and a male betta, Frank and have since moved into a bigger, cuboid shaped 100l tank and introduced my tetra first as Frank is a betta (well, you know why i introduced them first)

before moving Frank into the tank i also bought 6 Panda Corys and some more shrimp.

now i've just put frank in and he isnt bothering the tetra or the larger shrimp (he is investigating the smaller ones but theyre too quick for him to catch anyway so im not concerned there) however, my concerns lie with my corys

as he has not lived with or seen them before he has been getting close to them and flaring at them (not constantly as he is checking the tank out too).

hes not trying to nip them or anything but has chased a few and stuff so this is where my concerns lie.

is he just trying to show them who's the boss? or do you believe he will harm them?

i imagine they will be fine as they are passive and have just removed themselves from the situation or stayed still like theyre scared to move or whatever.

what do you think? please advise me soon!

also should i leave the light off for a while? i would preferably have them on

Give it some time and just look for any nipped fins. My guppy was trying to nip at the cories when i just got it day before yesterday and today it's hardly looking at them. Just give it some time unless something serious is going on. Good Luck!

oh really? ok mate thanks.

im sat by my tank with the light on just checking up on them every now and again and he seems fine now :good:
