Hi
I have a Boesami Rainbow (well 4 actually) and I have just noticed one looks injured, he is not moving one of his side fins the other side is fine. Also i have just fed them and he has totally ignored the food, he also looks to be *breathing* quicker and stays to one side of the tank, anyone got any ideas? I can only assume he has bumped into something and damaged it. Will he eventually heal himself or would it be better to get some meds in there? Unfortunately the LFS is shut until tomorrow so I hope he'll make it through the night, sorry I can't give any more info other than the water stats are fine.
Anyone got any advise on how to deal with this?

Thanks

Andy

He's not sounding to good can you issolate him.
Is he struggling to stay up right.

Unfortunately the poor fella did not make it through the night :( I do not have the facilities to isolate him so that was not an option, he was swimming upright and even ventured round the tank normally a couple of times before I went to bed. I took him to the LFS so they could take a look, and they also offer free water checks so I had them do that also as a second opinion, all ok. Their opinion is that it may be parasite related and suggested a Protozin treatment, so I will be starting that asap.

Thanks

Andy
