Well I posted a while ago asking for an id on my coral. My friend has told me it could be a zoo polyp but I'm not sure.

What do you guys think? And if it is a zoo polyp can you give me some info please?
 
That's what I thought too. But a few people I've asked dismissed it. Even at the store.
 
Can you turn it over an take a photo of its skeleton/base please? I am almost certain it is a Gonniopora, as I said earlier :good:

id agree with that, cant be zoanthids as it looks to be attacked to a skeleton. Which means its not a softie unless its grown on a dead bit as a way of someone fragginf them, in which case maybe clove polyps but deffo not zoas
 
I agree with Shibby. I vote for alveopora sp.. They are difficult to keep alive.
