Info On Blood Parrots Please.

Hope you don't mind me editing your thread title, just to make it a bit more accurate.
 
Blood/red parrots are (almost certainly) a hybrid, so I'm moving your thread there

Not really a fan, although I have had some big ones before, they say they grow no bigger than 6" yet i sold a 8" one to my friend 2 years ago and its easily just under a foot long now, huge!
 
Males are sterile, females are fertile.
 
They are considered to be a hybrid between a Midas/Red Devil and a Vieja Synspilum (Red Headed Cichlid)
 
Some are very gentle, but my old one had a temperament more like a Flowerhorn, it beat the hell out of my friends 10" male Green Terror!
