an "emergency" but its worrying me.

We recently got a bull pleco, and hes done a wonderful job at eating our algae. So much so that the tank seems to be squeaky clean.

We brought some Aqua One vege wafers to suppliment his diet, but as soon as we stick a couple in for him all of our other fish start going mental! They are squabbling and fighting over who gets to eat it! How can i make sure my pleco eats properly without all the other guys stealing all of his food?

Have a brought the wrong thing?

Helps.

Placing one near the pleco and onother on the far side of the tank from it.

This gets the other fish interested and then you can feed him. I run into this sort of thing all the time in my tank and that's how I deal with it.

Try feeding at night, when the others are sleeping and the plec isnt.

Hmm, i could try that. But even so, he doesnt seem to want to come down from sucking the glass to eat! Maybe he doesnt need it yet? :/
