Hi! New platy owner here and I loveee them <3

Im not sure whether my two female platies in my community tank are pregnant. I got them on the 11th of October, and there's currently a male platy in my tank with them. I've done a bit of searching around the internet and can't really tell if my players are pregnant? They have dark spots on them but I'm not sure if they are the gravid spots?

Many thanks in advance!

They will be pregnant, not possible to have female platy with male platy without her being pregnant

Yeah I feel the answer to this question is always yes. Sometimes it's worms and white, stringy poop will reveal that. But almost always a female Platy is pregnant.

Here are two good forum threads on platy pregnancy
