Howdy folks!

I recently got into collecting fish, but I do have a question. My current fish salesperson is very knowldegeable regarding the laws of the state for what you can and cannot own. I may be moving to a more southern state and am afraid my piranahas may be illegal due to being able to survive in the water. Who would I contact to find out if they are illegal? Would it be the DNR? My friendly fish salesperson does not know what the law is for the state I may be moving to.

Thanks for your help,

PhilG

Sorry, just noticed that information is not anywhere. Yes, I am in the USA, Michigan specifically potentially moving to Illinois.
