Hi All

I went into my local MA today, they have a stunning albino oscar up for £60 GBP. I spoke to a member of staff, it's a rescue, the owner just didn't want it anymore. It's about a foot in lengh and looks like this;

(not actual pic)

Not an advert on behalf of MA but thought there might be someone out there, who might be interested.

Trouble is there are quite a few shops with large oscars in, that are there for months.

it's MA, prices are awful but the other LFS has closed their aquatics section down until Jan 2011, due to refurb. Suppose MA can charge higher, if they are the only ones about for a fair drive.

They have been known to lower prices though!

That's way too much money. People can't give oscars away that big near me. I see them for free all the time.

my local MA is the best priced lfs near me and always has been. almost half the price of stores like trowell MA.... that store is such an expensive shop its a joke :angry: generally big oscars are free or about £10-20 depending on the strain and colouration etc. that fish will be there for ages at that price unless one of these people that chuck cash about sees it and wants it :unsure:

Where this MA is, the tiny village borders on one of the most expensive places to live in the UK..........it's really expensive to live round here, so you can most prob see, why the prices are high :blink:

Wish I was rich :sad:
