Fish Addict
Adonis is my baby white delta, DT geno, I got from a local pet store (no idea where they got such amazing fish, but wooo!). Here's a picture of his cute little self:
Anyway, he lives beside Erebus, my new black PK from Wuv (holy %$#@ I just love him and his gimpy fin! TOO CUTE!!!) in a 2.5 gallon beside my bed. Well, I had to put their heater in, it's been getting so cold and they are right up against the outside wall under my drafty window. So, the cord props up the glass lid a bit because it has no holes (I tried to get it cut, but no store would cut it for me).
So. I'm going to sleep and hear a little splash. Think, meh, and go to sleep.
I wake up, and tiny little Adonis is in the same side as Erebus.
Both are fine.
As I'm staring at them, Erebus decides he's had enough of Adonis and bites him. Just a little tear in Adonis's anal fin. I raise my brows and grab my net, putting Adonis back on his own side.
So they made it all through the night with no problems. But when I wake up, Erebus gets sick of that little punk taking up his space, and lets me and him know it.

If you don't think somebody biting you is the clearest indication they've gotten tired of you, then I don't know what it would take! 
I can just imagine your guys hanging out, having a little tea party all night, and then, when they saw you wake up, deciding whoops, better get the fight going now
