Idenify Gourami

I was in LFS the other day and saw a gourami that was unusual to me. I asked the shop keeper it was and got a description in Thai and I could only understand the word "Gourami." She said they grow to 3-4 inches.

Can anyone tell em what type this is? I have looked at pictures and cannot find it.

Sorry about the picture quality. These juveniles in the tank were 1 1/2 - 2" long. Some had the yellow coloration on the top and on the belly and some belly only. They also had small dots on the sides similar to a Pearl Gourami

Golden honey gourami?
They look similar to the ones ive seen today im not totally sure though

They're definitely not golden honey gouramis. I'm not even convinced they're gouramis to be honest.
I thought rainbow fish possibly for awhile... but honestly haven't seen them before, ever.

their yet another balloon type of fish, but it's based on the pearl/lace Gourami.

not my sort of fish and deformend fish may suffer from swim bladder problems etc later in life

The more I read and think about it, I have decided to "pass" on this one and just put a regular Pearl Gourami in the tank.

Oh! No!!... have they now gotten onto ballooning even the Majestic Pearl... cause that is what I'm seeing here... How cruel!!
