i have just bought a new nano tank and I am having trouble identifying this?
approx. 5" across

Looks like a cabbage leather coral (Sinularia sp.).

Yup, that's what it is. Probably S. dura. It's a great color as well. It has potential to grow into a great coral.
One piece of advice I've learned with this coral is to acclimate it slowly to your lighting conditions. It can get too much light quickly due to the surface area.
