Hi,
I noticed something strange to me yesterday in my tank…
A few facts

- Around half a CM in size.
- Fast burst of speed 4cm a second
- Attracted to light
- Cleaner shrimp will eat them
- Round upper body with tail like a super tiny tad pole

Tank, 2 blue green
2 Blue/green reef Chromis - Chromis viridis
1 yellow tang - Zebrasoma flavescens
2 clarkii Clownfish - Amphiprion clarkia

1 Longspine urchin
Hermits
Turbo snails
Astraea snails
Condy Anemone
Bubble tip anemone

Video1 shows the object in question is attracted to light, enough arrive with time to cover the glass and block vision into tank.

Video2 shows cleaner shrimp eating the object in question

Get another cleaner shrimp?????

Do they come out during the day?

Probably an overgrown isopod. They have been known to parasitize fish, but most are benign. If you really don't want them, simply buy a predator such as more shrimp, or a wrasse, psuedochromis of some kind.
